Event Overview
Jharkhand, a land of rich tribal heritage, untapped natural beauty, and abundant mineral resources, stands as a hidden gem for filmmakers. Its diverse landscapes and cultural vibrancy offer a unique canvas for cinematic storytelling. MERATV, a pioneering regional OTT platform dedicated to supporting regional filmmakers, proudly presents the MERATV Short Film Festival 2024, organized by GR8DESIGNS™. This festival aims to showcase the unexplored cinematic potential of Jharkhand, inviting filmmakers to capture its essence.
In addition, we aim to bring technical experts such as cinematographers, video editors, scriptwriters, directors etc. from various parts of India to share their experiences with film enthusiasts in our state. We anticipate the participation of 200 filmmakers from different parts of the country and approximately 500 participants during the grand finale.
